Downpipes done, not just gutters

Plenty of “gutter cleans” are a quick scoop of the leaves you can see from the ground. The problem is that a clear gutter feeding a blocked downpipe still overflows , the water just backs up out of sight. Every visit here clears the entire run by hand or gutter vacuum , leaves, moss, silt and roof grit , then checks the flow on every downpipe, because that’s where blockages actually hide. The debris goes with us, not on your lawn.

The warning signs are easy to spot: water spilling over the front edge in rain, grass growing out of the gutter, green algae streaks down the wall, damp patches near the roofline. Left alone, that water works under the roof edge and down the brickwork , damp, rotten fascias and far bigger bills. We do it differently: if we spot a cracked union, a dropped bracket or a section pulling away from the fascia while we’re up there, you get told plainly and shown a photo , then you decide.
