1. About us

Ascent Exterior Cleaning is a sole trader providing exterior property cleaning services in Saffron Walden and surrounding areas of Essex. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Ascent Exterior Cleaning.

2. Quotes and bookings

Quotes provided via our website or by phone are free and carry no obligation. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is given.

A booking is confirmed when we have agreed a date and you have received written or verbal confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Pricing

Prices shown on our website are indicative. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of quoting and is based on the specific requirements of your property. We will always confirm the agreed price before work begins.

First cleans (where a property has not been professionally cleaned for an extended period) may be priced higher than regular maintenance cleans to account for additional time and effort required.

4. Access and preparation

You are responsible for ensuring we have reasonable access to the areas to be cleaned on the agreed date. This includes:

If adequate access is not available on arrival and we are unable to complete the work, a call-out fee may apply.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand plans change. We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule — ideally at least 24 hours.

We may need to reschedule your appointment due to severe weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you as soon as possible in such cases and rebook at your earliest convenience.

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept bank transfer and cash. Regular customers may be invoiced monthly by agreement.

Late payment may result in suspension of regular service until the account is settled.

7. Our liability

We carry full public liability insurance. In the unlikely event that we cause damage to your property during the course of our work, please notify us in writing within 7 days of the visit.

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided in the visit during which the damage occurred. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, faults, or conditions that were not caused by our work.

We are not responsible for damage caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, pre-existing structural faults, or poorly maintained fixtures.

8. Satisfaction guarantee

We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with the result of a clean, please contact us within 48 hours and we will return to address any issues at no additional charge, subject to reasonable circumstances.

9. Repeated service customers

For customers on a regular cleaning schedule, we aim to maintain consistent pricing for the duration of our arrangement. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price changes.

Either party may end a regular service arrangement at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Website and information

The information on our website is provided in good faith and for general information only. Prices, service descriptions, and coverage areas are subject to change. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the website content.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
